Dr. Oteri is a board-certified family physician who has a passion for treating whole families in a wholistic manner. She has tremendous experience caring for all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. She works closely with alternative providers such as chiropractors, homeopaths, naturopaths, herbalists, and massage therapists. Dr. Oteri strives to embody the osteopathic principles in which she was trained. She firmly believes that a person is a whole being - body, mind, and spirit - and that the body has self-healing capabilities which simply need to be supported through proper diet, exercise, stress reduction, and spinal alignment. Dr. Oteri enjoys using herbs, homeopathy, vitamins, nutrition and osteopathic manipulation to treat her patients.
Dr. Oteri attended medical school and completed a fellowship in osteopathic manipulation at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She employs a wide variety of softer-touch osteopathic techniques while treating patients; including cranial osteopathy (cranio-sacral), ligamentous articular release, muscle energy, and myofascial release.
Dr. Oteri is very knowledgeable about nutrition from raw veganism to traditional foods such as those utilized by the Weston A. Price Foundation.. She has collected an extensive list of healthy food sources in New Hampshire through her own personal experience.
Most importantly, Dr. Oteri is also a mother to two biological children and 4 non-biological children. She is comfortable with a wide variety of parenting styles and especially enjoys helping women with breastfeeding, cloth diapering, attachment parenting, co-sleeping, and baby wearing. Her passions include spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling, gardening, and cooking.
